Problem / Situation
When seeking to make a building feel like a coherent whole, rather than feeling like a disjointed collection of pieces forced together, it is key to reconcile the interior spaces with the exterior form.
Solution
Do not attempt to force interior spaces into a particular form based on a predetermined exterior form.
Instead, plan interior spaces and exterior form at the same time, allowing each one to be influenced by the other.
This allows the spaces to be expressed on the outside, and rather than having the inside awkwardly structured due to an arbitraty exterior form.
