Problem / Situation
A symmetrical or balanced asymmetrical composition creates a feeling of a complete whole.

In contrast, an unbalanced composition has the effect of keeping us on edge, and creates a feeling of motion. Depending on the overall effect you are trying to achieve, this may or may not be a good thing.
